The Lodes Division

The Division covers the towns of Bottisham, Newmarket and Soham and their surrounding villages. We are a fairly large division and girls enjoy taking part in lots of different activities and events, including sleepovers and holidays, district parties and games and outdoor activities.

The Lodes Division is directly east of Cambridge City. It consists of 3 districts:

Soham District

Our district covers the towns of Soham, Isleham, Fordham and Wicken and is a thriving guiding area. We have groups for girls of all ages, from 5 – 26 and take part in lots of activities and events, including Brownie Revels, camps and holidays, and the BIG GIG.

Newmarket District

Newmarket District contains 11 groups of Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members who that get up to some amazing activities and covers the areas of Newmarket, Cheveley and Moulton. Bottisham District

Our district covers the villages of Bottisham Burwell, Dullingham and the Wilbrahams and have active and enthusiastic groups for girls of all ages, from Rainbows through to Senior Section. All units attended the County Launch 100 event to start our Centenary celebrations and several Leaders took part in the Girlguiding Anglia ‘We Will Rock You’ trip to London. Girls regularly enjoy going on sleepovers, holidays and camps too.
