Rhee Division

Rhee Division is a large Division in the south of Cambridge city covering the villages of Gransdens and Cambourne, Toft and Comberton, Barrington, Fowlmere and Foxton as well as Melbourn and Orwell. We are a very active Division with enthusiastic and supportive Leaders who offer a variety of activities for the girls and young women in guiding.

Rhee Division is south west of Cambridge city and consists of 4 districts, after Comberton District grew too large split into two earlier this year:

Childerly District

Childerley District covers the villages of Caldecote, Cambourne and Hardwick. We are a large district with over 10 Rainbow, Brownie and Guide groups and hope to start a Senior Section unit for girls aged 14+ soon. We have a group of very enthusiastic Leaders and are always looking to bring new adult into out district team. We all enjoy taking part in outdoor activities and days out, as well as games and singing in the unit and taking part in community action projects.

Toft District

Our district covers the vilages of Barton, Coton, Comberton, Toft and Caxton. Guiding is well supported in all section – we have 2 Rainbow units, 7 Brownie Packs and Guide and Senior Section groups, and girls enjoy taking part in actiivites in and out of their meeting places. Recently, units have visited a Guiding World Centre, Pax Lodge in London and aken part in camps and adventurous activities including Mepal.

Harston District

Our district covers Harston and Newton, Foxton, Fowlmere, Haslingfield, Harlton and Barrington. Most units include girls from the surrounding villages. They enjoy learning new things and taking part in activities and games with their friends. Recently, members from the District have taken part in camps and holidays, crafts , cooking and games, and enjoy visits to interesting places. We also enjoy taking part in outdoor activities – climbing, rowing, sailing, canoeing, abseiling – you name it, we’ve done it!
